Course Description: This course covers the various applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), particularly for urban planning problem-solving. It addresses the identification of geographic data types, methods of organizing them in databases, data input and processing, and map creation and cartographic representation.

Prerequisites: GEO 261
Objectives of the course :

Interested in applying Geographic Information System (GIS) knowledge to solve and understand real-world urban planning issues.
