Course Description: This course aims to introduce political geography, its fields, and its relationship with other sciences. It covers the origin, growth, development, and functions of the state, both internally and externally. The course also examines the geographical components of a state (natural, human, economic), political boundaries and their issues. It will delve into territorial waters, exploring their forms, types, and examples, as well as the new political map of the world, international blocs, international rivers, colonialism, and religious, ethnic, and linguistic minorities.
