Geography of Saudi Arabia

Course Description: The course covers the natural and human elements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: location, borders, area, geological structure, topography, climate, natural resources (soil, vegetation, water, and minerals), and environmental issues. The course also studies population size, growth, spatial distribution, and demographic, social, and economic characteristics. The course also focuses on all economic activities (pastoralism, fishing, mining, agriculture, industry, trade, tourism, and transportation). The course also addresses administrative divisions and some characteristics of administrative regions. The course concludes by referencing the Kingdom's role at the regional and international levels.
