Introduction to Geology

Course Description: The course aims to introduce the science of geology, its elements, development, and its relationship with other sciences. This includes geological history and geological eras, along with a mention of constructive and destructive processes, and various geological movements. It will also describe the Earth's crust, lithosphere, rocks, and minerals, with an introduction to different types of rocks and minerals. Igneous rocks [factors and processes of formation – origin – distribution – characteristics].
