Course Description: Introduction to the course, stating its objectives, the methodology followed, understanding cartographic terms, types and sources of cartographic information, clarifying basic concepts in map design, familiarizing students with the fundamentals of map construction, and explaining the theoretical framework and concepts related to computer cartography technology, and its application.
