Introduction to Human Geography

Course Description: The course aims to introduce human geography, the relationship between humans and the environment, theories of human geography, and geographical schools (determinism, possibilism, probabilism), as well as the components and branches of human geography. It also covers rural and urban settlement geography, political and physical geography, and topics related to various types of human geography. Furthermore, it explores human activities such as gathering, hunting, fishing, agriculture, pastoralism, mining, industry, and trade. The course will also cover human regions, their types, and the concepts of human and cultural regions.
