Introduction to Physical Geography

Course Description: This course deals with the study of the concept and content of physical geography, its relationship with other geographical sciences and auxiliary natural sciences. It also covers the Earth's position in the solar system and its dimensions, and the study of natural phenomena on its surface in terms of landforms, the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.

The main objective of the course:
Enable the student to grasp the concept of physical geography, understand the reality of the Earth's formation and related theories, differentiate between types of landforms and the processes that shaped them, know the types and characteristics of Earth's spheres, and analyze climatic elements and processes.
