Objectives of the course :
  • The course aims to study the physiological and environmental factors affecting human growth and development throughout the life stages.
  • It also aims to identify nutritional needs during pregnancy, breastfeeding, infancy, adolescence, adulthood, and old age.
Course outputs :

At the end of studying this course, the student will be able to:
1. Evaluating the resources impacting the nutrition of mothers and infants, adolescents, and children and adults.
2. Understanding the factors that may affect nutritional status, growth, and development in children, as well as the elderly with chronic diseases.
3. Applying thinking skills to evaluate research in the field of maternal, breastfeeding, child, adolescent, and elderly nutrition.
