Course Description: This course describes the physiological and mechanical changes caused by prohibited substances within the body, how they manipulate energy pathways and muscle building, and how to understand performance enhancers from dietary supplements. It also covers the difference between these supplements and internationally banned stimulants, their types, classifications, and dangers. The course will study the international regulations and legal rules for dealing with these substances by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and clarify the roles of coaches, athletes, and guardians in their respective responsibilities towards sportsmanship and fair play.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to familiarize participants with the physiological and mechanical changes caused by banned substances within the body, how they manipulate energy pathways and muscle building, and how to understand performance enhancers in dietary supplements. It will also differentiate between these supplements and internationally banned steroids, covering their types, classifications, and dangers. Furthermore, the course will study the international regulations and legal rules for dealing with these substances by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and clarify the roles of coaches, athletes, and guardians in their respective responsibilities towards sportsmanship and fair play.
