Course Description: This course presents the fundamentals of conducting research using a scientific and systematic methodology. Students will learn how to generate research ideas, develop research proposals, and critically review previous literature. The course covers research philosophy, theoretical frameworks, and the formulation of research designs. Students will also be introduced to research ethics. The course addresses methods for collecting primary data, including interviews and questionnaires, as well as evaluating secondary data. Students will apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques to interpret research findings. The course concludes with guidelines and instructions on how to write and present a research project report.

Objectives of the course :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
Develop a research idea, formulate a research proposal, and conduct a critical review of previous literature.
 Designing a research methodology by selecting an appropriate research philosophy, research design, ethical considerations, and sampling methods.
Gathering primary data through interviews and questionnaires, and evaluating secondary data sources for financial research.
Analyzing research data using quantitative and qualitative techniques, interpreting results, and writing and presenting a structured and integrated research project report.
