Course Description: The course covers the basic concepts of corporate governance and its role in strengthening a company's position in financial markets. It also focuses on the principles of this governance, considering ethical behavior as the cornerstone of governance. This course also analyzes the acquisition process and the different forms of control. Furthermore, the course enables the use of techniques to assist companies in making merger decisions. The course also focuses on the basic concepts of behavioral finance and the explanations it provides for individual behavior that traditional finance has been unable to analyze and encompass.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and concepts relevant to specialized finance studies by addressing corporate governance, the concepts of mergers and acquisitions, and comparing traditional finance with behavioral finance and its various applications. The course also aims to equip students with oral presentation skills, critical analysis skills, and problem-solving skills related to the relevant topics.
