Course Description: This course covers the fundamental concepts and skills necessary for conducting scientific research in the field of financial sciences. The course reviews research methodologies used in economic and financial sciences, including the steps for preparing scientific research, identifying the research problem, research methodologies, data collection methods, measurement tools, hypothesis testing, data analysis, interpreting results, writing the research, extracting conclusions and recommendations, and the method of writing references and indices. It also focuses on the practical aspect through writing a research project, in which the skills and knowledge acquired during this course are applied.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to help students become familiar with the fundamental concepts and skills needed to prepare scientific research in the fields of economics and finance. The course reviews the scientific research methodologies used in economic and financial sciences. This course also aims to equip students with the skills to use databases, software, and oral and written presentations on topics related to the course. Students will also gain the value of teamwork in scientific research.
