Course Description: This course provides an overview of the most common and influential financial markets and institutions in the economic cycle. It also focuses on the types of financial markets and major financial institutions, highlighting investment banks and their functions, as well as finance companies, insurance companies, and investment funds. The course also enables students to learn about the characteristics of financial institutions and the functions and objectives of the central bank in financial markets. This course allows for recognition of the investment and financial instruments offered by various financial institutions and the financial models for pricing investment instruments offered by various financial institutions.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to provide students with basic knowledge and concepts related to financial markets and institutions, and to familiarize them with the role and functions of the central bank, how monetary policy is implemented, and the most important financial institutions and their role in the financial market.
