This course aims to equip students with the fundamental knowledge and concepts related to corporate finance by introducing them to the types of risk.
The challenges companies face and the extent to which capital structure policies affect company value, as well as an analysis of companies' dividend distribution policies.
This course also aims to equip students with critical thinking skills and the ability to solve corporate finance-related problems.
1. Knowledge and Understanding, C1: Basic Knowledge
Recognizes the fundamental theories and concepts of corporate finance.
Explains the fundamental concepts of corporate finance.
Applies financial models and techniques to price fixed and variable income investment instruments (stocks, bonds, convertible securities).
2. Skills, 3rd Quarter: Critical Thinking
Is able to evaluate, critically think, and solve the financial problem under study, and develops alternative solutions using appropriate financial tools and models.
3. Values, Autonomy, and Responsibility, Q4 Teamwork:
Practices teamwork values by discussing a corporate finance topic collaboratively with colleagues.
