This course aims to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and theories of capital structure, as well as the study of corporate financial decision-making policies and their impact on the cost of capital and its various applications. This course also aims to equip students with oral presentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills for the topics covered.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1- Recognizes the main theories and concepts of capital structure and corporate dividend policies.
Explains the basic concepts of corporate financial policies.
3. Uses analytical tools to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and methods for dealing with distressed companies to choose the least costly solution, either by restructuring the company or liquidating it.
4. Enhances critical thinking, problem-solving, and solution-finding abilities by addressing case studies related to course topics.
Enhances awareness of the company's commitment to professional ethics for its sustainability and to avoid harming its external environment.
