Jurisprudential Research Methodology

Course Description: To understand the meaning of jurisprudential research, and the method of research in the books of early scholars and contemporary scholars, which equips the student with the ability to write jurisprudential research, and to critically analyze and formulate jurisprudential issues.
Credits: 2
Objectives of the course :

– Introduce the student to religious jurisprudence vocabulary and how to formulate juristic issues of various types.
– Equipping the student with the ability to write jurisprudential research and analyze jurisprudential issues, and the method of researching in the books of early jurists and the books of contemporary jurists.
Training the student on how to write scientific research at its various stages, starting with defining the problem and ending with the most accepted opinion on it.
Deriving contemporary issues from the principles of jurisprudential schools of thought.
- Weighing different scholarly opinions on jurisprudential issues where there is disagreement.
