Course Description: The student will study contemporary issues related to personal status jurisprudence.

Objectives of the course :

The student will learn about contemporary issues related to personal status law.
- That the student acquires the skill of deriving contemporary personal status issues from the issues of predecessors and studying their similarities, and how to derive from them.
– Review the decisions of the Council of Senior Scholars and Fiqh academies on contemporary personal status matters

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:
1- The student will learn about the origins of contemporary jurisprudential issues in personal status.
2- The student clarifies the research methodology for contemporary personal status issues. .
3. The student will be able to list methods for deriving contemporary issues from jurisprudential questions in the books of early scholars.

1- The student applies the research methodology to contemporary issues on emerging matters.
2- The student will accurately compare different issues in personal status jurisprudence.
3. To conduct specialized research on how to derive personal status issues from the texts of early scholars.
