Contemporary Issues in Transactional Jurisprudence

Course Description: To define contemporary jurisprudential issues in transactions, how they are conceptualized, and how Islamic legal rulings are applied to them in light of Islamic legal principles.
Credits: 2
Objectives of the course :

– Introduce the student to contemporary jurisprudential issues in the fiqh of transactions in its various chapters.
– Equipping the student with the skill of jurisprudential derivation for contemporary issues in the jurisprudence of transactions, and how to conceptualize them and research their ruling in light of Islamic legal principles.
– Deriving contemporary issues from the principles of jurisprudential schools of thought
Weighing the different scholarly opinions on jurisprudential matters where there is disagreement.

1- To clarify the jurisprudential rulings on contemporary issues in the fiqh of transactions.
