Course Description: The Clothing Manufacturing course (FAD464), taught at the seventh level with 3 credit hours, covers the devices, tools, apparatus, and machines used in the production lines of clothing factories. It also addresses methods for preparing industrial patterns and developing a production plan (technical file) for the desired model. This includes planning for cutting (pattern making, grading, matching), then cutting using electric shears, and sewing according to the operational plan, while considering quality standards in garment manufacturing.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims to familiarize students with the departments of ready-made garment factories and the components of each department, and its role in garment production by developing a plan to implement a product that represents a production process using one of the industry's production systems and according to the required quality, based on product analysis, and establishing an operational plan and calculating cost, time, and effort. .
