Course Description: The Expressive Fashion Design course (FAD439), for which 2 credit hours are awarded, covers the concept of "expressive fashion," theater, television, cinema, plays, series, and films, as well as types of plays and theatrical costumes, types of films and cinematic costumes. It also addresses the origins and evolution of television, types of drama series, and a historical overview of expressive makeup, its types, and functions. Furthermore, it explores the nature of the expressive fashion designer's work in theater, cinema, and television, including designing expressive costumes for characters in various artistic works for theater, cinema, and television, and executing one of the proposed expressive costume designs.

The course aims to introduce students to the types of expressive costumes for theater, cinema, and television, with design proposals based on the characters of proposed artistic works, and implementing one of the proposed designs that embody the artistic work's character in all its aspects.
