Creating and executing men's clothing models

Course Description: The course "Men's Garment Production and Implementation" (FAD354), with 2 credit hours, covers different types of men's garments, pattern making methods, and construction techniques. It also explores the variations in men's attire across some Arab countries such as Saudi, Emirati, Egyptian, Omani, and Kuwaiti traditional clothing and their construction methods. Additionally, the course includes the making of men's shirts and trousers, with the implementation of specific collars, plackets, and pockets used in menswear.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims to introduce different types of men's clothing, methods for preparing their patterns, and construction techniques. It will also cover the differences between men's attire styles in some Arab countries, such as Saudi, Emirati, Egyptian, Omani, and Kuwaiti thobes, and their respective construction methods. Participants will also learn to construct men's shirts and trousers, along with some other types of men's garments.
