Course Description: The Art History 2 course (FAD222), which is taught at the fourth level with 2 credit hours, deals with a comprehensive analytical and critical study of the history of modern art from the influential school until now, through the thought, philosophy and culture of the era, with reference to the most important artists of each school, a presentation of their artworks, and analysis of the data of each school or its trends, (Influentialism - Cubism - Dadaism - Futurism - Brutalism - Expressionism - Surrealism - Abstraction - Constructivism - Art of visual deception - Public and mass art.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims at a comprehensive analytical and critical study of the history of modern art from the influential school until now, through the thought, philosophy and culture of the era, with reference to the most important artists of each school, a presentation of their artworks and analysis of the data of each school or its trends, with training in analyzing and criticizing selected paintings.
