Course Description: The Ergonomics course, FAD217, worth 2 credit hours, covers the study of ergonomics, its objectives, concept, and human factors as they relate to the work environment. This includes the design of products, publications, tools, and machinery, as well as ergonomic considerations and standards to ensure compatibility with the recipient's abilities and limitations, and to improve safety and increase comfort in fields and specializations related to ergonomics.

The course aims to study the objectives and concept of ergonomics, anthropometric and biomechanical measurements related to the human body, ergonomic considerations and standards for product design, identifying the reciprocal relationship between humans, products, and the environment, and distinguishing between individual, cognitive, and psychological human differences in various ergonomics fields.
