This course primarily aims to equip medical students with the ability to accurately use and understand medical terminology in English, thereby enhancing their communication skills for effective professional interaction. Students will master the pronunciation, spelling, and definition of medical terms related to anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Medical students need to be good listeners and confident speakers to absorb the knowledge required from their textbooks, professors, and peers. Therefore, the course specifically aims to provide students with essential medical vocabulary and terminology used in the health sciences. The course also aims to develop students' understanding of language and its use in spoken and written communication.

• Spelling of medical terms related to body systems and their pathological disorders.
• List the different body systems. Identify clinical procedures, laboratory tests, diagnoses, and treatments.
