Course Description: An intensive foundational course, specifically designed to develop students' core language proficiency in the four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The course aims to empower students to communicate effectively and confidently in everyday situations and simple academic contexts. The content focuses on enriching vocabulary, controlling grammatical accuracy, and improving pronunciation skills. The course also integrates interactive activities and modern technologies to enhance self-learning skills, critical thinking, and practical communication.

Objectives of the course :

Building foundational communicative competence in students to meet the demands of daily study, work, and social interaction, while developing essential academic skills in writing and reading for micro-domains (from sentence construction to short paragraph development).

Course outputs :

I: Knowledge and understanding:

  • Identify and reproduce common (high-frequency) vocabulary and linguistic structures in familiar and specific topics for levels (A1→A2).
  • Understand the general idea (gist) and main details in simple texts, and short, clearly and carefully spoken oral presentations.

II: Skills:

  • Asking and answering simple questions, and participating in short, back-and-forth conversations to meet daily needs and discuss familiar topics.
  • Describe routine activities, places, past events, and future plans, and make basic comparisons using simple, linked sentences.
