Entrepreneurial Finance

Course Description: This course is designed for students who plan to participate in a startup venture at some point in their career, whether as founders, investors, board members, or advisors. It aims to provide them with a comprehensive perspective on the startup financing environment, going far beyond the basics of venture capital and angel investing. Through the course, we focus on the financial opportunities and decisions for entrepreneurs and private equity investors. .
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

1- Description of the entrepreneurship process and identification of funding sources throughout the project lifecycle.
2- Analysis and evaluation of the financial performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3- Discussion of the process of developing short-term and long-term financial plans for small and medium-sized enterprises.
4- Comparison of different financing methods suitable for SMEs, and their cost assessment.
5. Practice evaluating projects in their early stages.
