Course Description: Introduction to Antennas and Propagation. Basic propagation models and antenna parameters. Ground wave propagation. Sky wave propagation. Space wave propagation. Statistical models and diversity principles. Propagation models in mobile radio communication systems. Antenna engineering in Low Frequency (LF), Medium Frequency (MF), Very High Frequency (VHF), and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) systems. Linear and planar array antennas. .

Objectives of the course :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Acquire basic knowledge of electromagnetic wave propagation, antenna theory, and their applications.
