Course Description: Introduction to Integrated Circuit Technologies, including: Crystalline Silicon Preparation, Oxidation, Dopant Diffusion, Ion Implantation, Wafer Dicing, Interconnect Contacts, Heat Dissipation, and BJT and CMOS technologies.

Objectives of the course :

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Gain a basic understanding of the characteristics and operation of integrated circuits (ICs), including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.

* Utilize various techniques for analyzing analog, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuits.

* Application of fundamental concepts of analog, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuit design.

Course outputs :

* Application of circuit analysis techniques to analyze analog, digital, and mixed-signal integrated circuits.

* Design of analog and digital integrated circuits using Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design concepts and tools.

Using modern computer-aided design (CAD) tools to simulate the operation of integrated circuits (ICs).
