Course Description: Introduction to Microprocessor Systems, including: Microcomputer architecture, data, address, and control buses, memory access and interrupts. 80x86 Microprocessor Architecture, including: 16-bit and 32-bit microprocessors, and address generation (20-bit and 32-bit).

Prerequisites: EE 208
Objectives of the course :

Acquire knowledge and understanding to describe, operate, and program microprocessor-based systems using assembly language.

Acquiring intellectual skills in designing microprocessor systems for specific applications.

3. Acquiring intellectual skills related to organizing memory and input/output devices, and their configuration.

4. Gaining professional and practical skills in designing microprocessor systems for specific applications.
