Advanced Topics in Physical Therapy for Nervous System Diseases

Course Description: This elective course focuses on advanced applications of neurorehabilitation for complex conditions, integrating evidence-based practice, modern assistive technologies, and achieving functional and community goals within the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) framework. It also develops students' ability to manage chronic and multisystem neurological disorders, plan advanced rehabilitation programs, utilize assistive technology, promote community participation, and make clinical decisions within a multidisciplinary team.
