Course Description: This advanced course integrates neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, motor control, and motor learning theories with a study of common adult neurological disorders encountered by physical therapists. The course focuses on evidence-based examination, assessment, functional diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for neurological conditions, while developing clinical reasoning, professional communication, and treatment planning skills.

Objectives of the course :

Understanding the neural principles associated with human health and neurological diseases, and their accompanying pathological and pharmacological changes.
Identifying the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of various neurological conditions.
Apply appropriate assessment and treatment methods according to patient priorities and problems.
Developing an integrated understanding of neurorehabilitation methods and approaches for various conditions.
Acquire clinical application skills for examining and treating the most common neurological diseases.
