Course Description: This course provides students with fundamental knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, as well as the pathophysiology and clinical manifestations of various cardiac and pulmonary disorders and their complications. It also focuses on developing clinical assessment and reasoning skills and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, enabling students to design and implement effective physical therapy programs for different cardiac and pulmonary conditions.

Objectives of the course :

Understanding basic medical knowledge related to the anatomy and functions of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, as well as common diseases associated with them.
Linking medical knowledge with physical therapy principles to reach the correct functional diagnosis.
Application of physical therapy methods and techniques used in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
Designing evidence-based treatment plans for various cardiac and pulmonary conditions.
