Course Description: This course offers an in-depth study of physical therapy for women's health across the lifespan, as well as fundamental aspects of pelvic health for women and men. It covers pelvic anatomy and physiological changes associated with pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, with a focus on supporting delivery and rehabilitating pelvic floor muscles. It also addresses the management of common gynecological conditions, osteoporosis, menopause, and rehabilitation after breast cancer. Furthermore, it reviews pelvic health in men, including conditions related to the prostate, pelvic floor dysfunction, and rehabilitation after prostatectomy, emphasizing evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
