Course Description: This course provides an advanced study of measurement tools used in physical therapy, with an emphasis on the selection, application, and interpretation of evidence-based outcome measures across various clinical specialties. It covers the psychometric properties of measurement tools, including validity, reliability, responsiveness, and the minimal clinically important difference, in addition to the principles of clinical measurement, the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model, and the selection of appropriate measurement tools according to the clinical condition and treatment goals. The course also develops skills in clinical reasoning, data analysis, and the interpretation of measurement results, utilizing them to make clinical decisions and improve the quality of healthcare.
