Course Description: This course covers basic psychological principles and their applications in the field of rehabilitation and physical therapy, focusing on the psychological and social factors affecting recovery from illness or injury. It also reviews topics such as cognition, attention, memory, personality, motivation, learning, and patient-therapist communication, in addition to the impact of disability and illness on mental state, and the role of the family in supporting the rehabilitation process and improving therapeutic outcomes.
