Mobilizing the spine and peripheral joints

Course Description: This course provides an advanced study of the theoretical and practical principles of spinal and peripheral joint mobilization and manipulation in physical therapy, with a focus on evidence-based clinical assessment, joint biomechanics, functional diagnosis, and the selection of appropriate therapeutic techniques. It covers the classification of manual mobilization and manipulation techniques, indications, contraindications, precautions, and safety procedures, as well as the integration of manual therapy with therapeutic exercise and health education to achieve optimal functional outcomes. The course also develops clinical reasoning and decision-making skills, and the safe and efficient application of manual techniques in accordance with evidence-based practice.

1. Identify the scientific and biomechanical principles of spinal and peripheral joint mobilization.
2. Distinguish between the indications, contraindications, and precautions related to the application of manual mobilization and packaging techniques.
