Course Description: This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the concepts of medical rehabilitation and its various types, with a focus on disabilities and their appropriate rehabilitation methods. It also covers the philosophy of rehabilitation, its historical development, rehabilitation services, and their legal foundations. Additionally, it addresses the roles of multidisciplinary rehabilitation team members and different rehabilitation work environments. The course aims to enhance students' understanding of the role of rehabilitation in improving independence and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Objectives of the course :

Clarifying the importance of medical rehabilitation and its role in improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Identify the members of the rehabilitation team, their different roles, and the mechanisms of their integrated work.
