Course Description: This course is an economics of energy and oil course, not a general energy policy course. It covers a range of theoretical and applied topics related to energy and oil demand, supply, and prices, as well as the environmental impacts of their consumption and production. It also addresses various public policies affecting demand, supply, prices, and environmental consequences. The course aims to discuss these issues within the «Energy-Economy-Environment» (3E) framework, using economic analysis tools.
Credit hours: 3
Objectives of the course :

Integrating theoretical frameworks of energy and oil economics within the context of economic policy formulation.
• Ability to build meaningful economic assumptions and analyses based on diverse sources and references.
Practice good governance and logical thinking from an analytical economic perspective.
