Principles of Economics

Course Description: The course covers the fundamental concepts of microeconomics, including: • The nature of economics and its methodology • Contemporary economic doctrines • The economic problem and its causes • Price theory (supply, demand, and equilibrium) • Production theory (factors of production and the behavior of production units) • Returns to factors of production and their distribution mechanisms.
Credit hours: 3

1. Study of microeconomics and macroeconomics principles for non-specialists.
2. Teaching the student the methodology of economic thinking and analysis.
Providing an Islamic legal vision for economic principles.
