Oral health practice (expert)

وصف المقرر : يهدف هذا المقرر إلى تطوير قدرة الطالب على اتخاذ القرار المستند إلى الدليل العلمي من أجل تقديم عملية رعاية صحة الفم والأسنان بكفاءة وفعالية. ويُركِّز على خطة رعاية صحة الفم والأسنان وتقييم فعاليتها لدى فئات مرضى متنوعة تشمل أيضاً مرضى الأمراض الجهازية. ويسعى المقرر بصورة رئيسية إلى إعداد الطلاب لتبنِّي نهج متعدد التخصصات في معالجة احتياجات صحة الفم والأسنان للمرضى المصابين بالتهاب دواعم الأسنان المعتدل إلى الشديد. وهو استمرار تصاعدي للتطبيقات الإشرافية السريرية القائمة على الكفاءة وعلم دواعم الأسنان الموسَّع، حيث يتم تعزيز مهارات التنضير اللثوي غير الجراحي باستخدام التقليح اليدوي المتقدم، والتقليح بالموجات فوق الصوتية، والتخدير الموضعي.

Objectives of the course :

يهدف هذا المقرر بصفة رئيسية إلى إعداد الطلاب لتبنِّي نهج متعدد التخصصات في معالجة احتياجات صحة الفم والأسنان للمرضى المصابين بالتهاب دواعم الأسنان المعتدل إلى الشديد، بما يتوافق مع المعايير الستة الأساسية لرابطة ADHA لتقديم رعاية صحة الفم والأسنان بمستوى الخبرة.

Course outputs :

Knowledge and understanding:

The student will recall the principles of oral health care for patients with moderate to severe periodontitis.

The student will retain the concepts of periodontal management for patients with systemic diseases.

Skills:

The student should demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and faculty members.

To develop a comprehensive oral health care plan for both regular patients and patients with systemic diseases.

ينفذ الطالب الإجراءات السريرية للإدارة الفعّالة لالتهاب الدواعم وفق تصنيف AAP في المرحلتين الثالثة والرابعة باستخدام تقنيات الموجات فوق الصوتية والأدوات المتقدمة تحت التخدير الموضعي.
