Pain control, anxiety and local anesthesia

Course Description: This course introduces oral and dental health students to the importance of local anesthesia in clinical practice. It enables them to understand the neurophysiological and pharmacological aspects of local anesthesia and provides them with the tools and techniques used in maxillary and mandibular anesthesia, with an emphasis on local and systemic complications associated with local anesthesia.

Objectives of the course :

This course primarily aims to enable students to acquire local anesthesia skills for the upper and lower jaws for effective clinical practice in oral and dental health.

Retrieve the maximum recommended dosage for local anesthetics.
