Course Description: This course aims to develop students' ability to integrate knowledge from life sciences and dental health sciences to provide preventive oral health care targeted at specific populations, especially children in schools. The course clearly demonstrates various fluoride application methods for dental disease prevention and covers the use of different indicators for detecting and assessing oral diseases. Applying these skills will enable students to design and implement practical oral health programs for specific demographic groups and evaluate their effectiveness.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to enable oral and dental health students to plan and organize basic community awareness and prevention programs in oral and dental health.

Recalling knowledge of life sciences, dentistry, and oral health sciences to provide the highest level of health education and preventive oral care.

Explanation of the basics of using topical fluoride such as solutions, varnishes, and gels in preventing oral diseases.
