Mission

Course Description: The thesis course, with the code DESI799, is offered at the fourth doctoral level with 12 credit hours. It covers the preparation of a comprehensive scientific thesis in accordance with the principles of scientific research in the field of specialization. This includes identifying the problem, formulating objectives, research questions, and hypotheses, constructing the theoretical framework, selecting appropriate methodologies and data collection tools, implementing the practical framework of the thesis, and finally analyzing and discussing the results scientifically. The course also focuses on developing critical thinking and academic writing skills while adhering to scientific research ethics.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims to equip students with the skills to prepare a thesis following its scientific steps and procedures, and to train them in applying scientific research methods according to the nature of the thesis. It also aims to develop skills in research, analysis, and scientific critique, linking quantitative and qualitative scientific research methods and approaches to the field of specialization. Additionally, it seeks to innovate design and/or production and/or marketing methods and approaches in line with modern technology, as well as to reinforce the principles of scientific integrity and research ethics in presenting innovative ideas to solve societal issues.
