Course Description: The course "Modern Trends in Textile Fibers" (design 721) is a 3-credit hour course for the first level of the PhD in Clothing and Textile Design and Embroidery program. It covers the evolution of textile fibers, classification of synthetic textile fibers, spinning techniques for synthetic fibers, properties of textile fibers and their impact on the functional properties of fabrics, scientific terminology related to textile fibers in English, modern applications of textile fibers, modern applications of non-woven fabrics, modern applications of woven fabrics, the functional role of modern textile fibers in certain fields, modern textile fibers in home textiles, modern textile fibers in the medical field, modern textile fibers in the sports field, and modern textile fibers in industrial and engineering fields. .
