Advanced Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics

Course Description: This practical course is designed to equip students with the practical skills for advanced cases in oral and maxillofacial surgery. It focuses on surgical treatment methods (fractures, jaw alignment surgeries, extractions, bone reconstruction, and rehabilitation, etc.) and how to manage and follow up with patient cases.

Objectives of the course :

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
Evaluate and examine the patient using a scientific approach. .
• Recognize appropriate steps for surgical care. .
• Transferring patients to specialists when necessary.
• Interpretation of diagnostic results that may change or affect treatment.

Course outputs :

Discussing diagnostic results and treatment methods with the patient to obtain their signature for treatment.
• Control of patient pain and anxiety during surgical procedures.
• Assisting in advanced surgical procedures.
Perform some advanced surgical procedures under full supervision.
