Comprehensive patient care

Course Description: This comprehensive clinical course focuses on patient management across all dental specialties, including endodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics, oral surgery, oral medicine, oral pathology, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and special needs dentistry. Students will be trained in developing treatment plans and managing dental patients from start to finish using infection control protocols. Students will be able to treat and follow up on advanced cases under faculty supervision.

Prerequisites: DENT 441
Objectives of the course :

• Diagnosis and discussion of the signs, symptoms, and sources of various oral and dental diseases.
Propose a treatment plan for dental patients.
• Application of infection control programs during patient treatment.
The ability to use the necessary devices and materials to prevent and treat emergencies.

Course outputs :

• Reading and diagnosing dental radiographic images.
• Performing various types of tooth extractions and impacted teeth.
• Management of advanced dental cases under the supervision of college faculty members.
Prepare a case presentation after completing comprehensive dental care for the patient.
