Advanced Endodontics Clinics

Course Description: This course is designed so that students acquire the skill of incorporating minor surgeries in root canal treatment. Theoretical study will be more important than developing practical skills or solving dilemmas. This course will provide comprehensive knowledge about pharmaceutical preparation, pre-surgical assessment, soft tissue management, and apicoectomy in cases of failed conventional root canal treatment.

• Description of the advantages of minor surgeries associated with root canal treatment.
Indications and contraindications for minor surgeries concurrent with root canal treatment.
• Division of minor surgical cases associated with root canal treatment.

• Medical and radiological assessment of the patient for minor surgeries.
• Understanding the permissible range for age-peak removal.
