Dental Practice (1)

Course Description: This course includes training in dental clinics in conservative dentistry, periodontics, removable prosthodontics, and primary care. Through this course, students will repair and treat cases in the first three specialties, as well as deal with patients when they come to the clinic seeking primary care. Students in this course are allowed to treat any type of tooth decay, whether in the anterior or posterior teeth. As for gum disease, the student is allowed to remove dental calculus and treat the root surface, and some advanced types of treatment. This course will also focus on the main principles of fabricating complete dentures and the diagnosis and treatment of edentulous patients.

Objectives of the course :

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
• Implement the treatment plan and diagnosis.
• Understanding the main principles of dental restoration using different materials and techniques.
Understand the relationship between clinical methods and what was learned from the simulation program.
• Dental restoration to improve tooth function and occlusion.
• Diagnosis and treatment of gum disease.
Discussion of filling efficiency follow-up and oral health maintenance.
