By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
Identify the use of different materials for making various types of dental restorations and fillings.
• Understanding the biological, pathological, and diagnostic/therapeutic approaches for pulp and dentin complex, as well as pathological conditions of periapical tissues related to the dental pulp.
• Explanation of root canal irrigation, description and clarification of root canal sterilization, and the use of nerve extraction instruments, and description and application of medications and temporary fillings for root canal treated teeth.
• Understand the different methods of preparing and manufacturing dental restorations, including conservative treatment, endodontic treatment, and fixed and removable prosthetics.
Understand the principles, concepts, and techniques applied in the work of fixed installations.
