Introduction to Dental Practice

Course Description: This course is designed to ensure students have acquired sound knowledge in various areas of diagnosis and the dental record system, conservative dentistry, periodontics, infection control, how to use instruments, and local anesthesia before clinical patient treatment. Most of these topics have been covered before, but they need to be linked together.

Objectives of the course :

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
• Applying diagnostic information and file system
• Implementation of the infection control system in clinics
• Learn how to properly use machines and tools

Course outputs :

• Applying knowledge of local anesthesia and its administration methods before applying it in the clinic
• Review of cavity preparation techniques and filling material preparation
• Review of periapical examination techniques and treatment planning
